Jul 19, 2011 9:32 a.m.

GULF COAST - Today: Partly Sunny with a 20% Chance of T-Storms.

Highs: Inland-93, Coast-91

Tonight: Partly Cloudy & Quiet.

Lows: Inland-74, Coast-77

Weather Summary: We're sort of 'back in the saddle' so to speak with our weather today. The regular summer heat and humidity will be making a comeback as will the widely scattered t-storms. Through the morning hours, we aren't expecting anything but sunshine and mild temps which should feel nice as we start the day. By the afternoon, clouds will start to increase and the sky will become Partly Sunny. Highs today will max out at 93 degrees with the heat index nearing 105. We can't completely take the chances of rain out since the heat and humidity will be so high. But, the chances are only at 20% and will be very widely spaced. This pattern remains the same through the end of the week, but by the weekend moisture levels surge up and that will mean the rain chances will surge up as well. In the Tropics, we still have Tropical Storm Bret but he won't be an issue for the U.S at all and everything else out there is quiet.
